The Global Federation for Education of Individuals with Vision Impairments (GF-EIVI) extends a cordial invitation to its International Summit and General Meeting scheduled to convene in Ahmedabad, India from 14th to 17th November 2024.The International Summit is hosted by the Association for the Blind (AB), Ahmedabad, India, esteemed for its dedicated service to individuals with vision impairments in the Indian subcontinent. Serving as the Co-Host is Sense Global India, a prominent organization championing services for individuals who are both deaf and blind across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

The Organizing Committee, in partnership with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad, renowned for its expansive educational initiatives advocating "Learning for All", is orchestrating this prestigious global gathering. The university campus serves as the venue for this convocation.

The overarching theme of the summit is Unity in Variety: Fairness and Accessibility for All.

This summit aims to assemble eminent authorities in the field of educating individuals with vision impairments, encompassing professionals, caregivers, individuals with visual impairments, individuals with deafblindness, and those with multiple disabilities. The agenda encompasses cutting-edge research, best practices, and transformative innovations.

• To foster discourse on topics and methodologies aligned with the summit's theme of "Unity in Variety: Fairness and Accessibility for All."
• To facilitate the exchange of insights, experiences, scholarly endeavors, and practical applications through formal and informal engagements.
• To assess the landscape of equitable, high-quality education, and the provision of habilitation and rehabilitation services for children and youth with blindness, low vision, deafblindness, and multiple disabilities at local, regional, and global scales.
• To promote engagement with international luminaries, scholars, and practitioners in the realm of visual impairment, as they engage with the summit's overarching theme.
